Shah Rukh Khan’s most awaited movie of the year Ra. One failed to beat Salman Khan’s Blockbuster movie Bodyguard’s first day collection record.
The total collection of Ra. One in Hindi on first day was around Rs 14 crore as compared to Bodyguard’s Rs 21 crore. Even after adding the collection of Other prints, Ra. one unable to beat Bodyguard’s record.
So the all time opening day record is held by Bodyguard, followed by yet another Salman’s flick Dabangg with Rs 14.15 crore and then comes Ra. One.

1) Bodyguard – Rs 21 crore
2) Dabangg – Rs 14.5 crore
3) Ra.One – Rs 14 crore
4) 3 Idiots – Rs 13 crore
5) Ready – Rs 13 crore
Ra. One will have to collect Rs 100 crore in its first week to overcome its budget.
